Milwaukee’s third annual Cocktail Week will take place Sept. 16-22, at a variety of venues around the city.

This week-long celebration will bring together bartenders, cocktail luminaries and industry enthusiasts for a series of experiential events highlighting the best of Milwaukee cocktail culture.  

And many of them revolved around – not only cocktails – but food.

In fact, you'll experience uniquely delicious pairings created by some of the city’s best chefs and mixologists when you visit the following venues for their Cocktail Week dinner offerings.

Sept. 16

Great Northern Distilling Dinner at Goodkind
Few restaurants in Milwaukee better fuse the worlds of dining and imbibing like Bay View’s Goodkind. On Sept. 16, Great Northern Distilling will present elegant yet casual evening of cocktails and cuisine as they team with Goodkind in this multi-course dinner.

Great Northern Distilling produces premium grain-to-glass spirits out of central Wisconsin. Their spirit line-up includes their Potato Vodka, Herbalist Gin (made exclusively with botanicals native to the northwoods of Wisconsin), Opportunity Rum, and the Vanguard Whiskey.

Great Lakes Distillery 4-course Dinner at Morel
Two beloved Walker’s Point businesses come together in this exclusive cocktail dinner on Wednesday, Sept 16. Morel has crafted an exceptional four-course menu, with each course paired with a cocktail using Great Lakes Distillery spirits. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary reception cocktail before seating at 7 p.m.

"Pride of Wisconsin" Milwaukee Cocktail Week Dinner at c.1880
c.1880 returns for their third year crafting an incredible cocktail dinner for Milwaukee Cocktail Week. This five-course dinner’s theme is "Pride of Wisconsin," and features both cuisine and cocktails sourced from our home State. As chef Thomas Hauck works his magic in the kitchen, General Manager and Beverage Director Joshua Wolter will present each course and cocktail, – each made with a spirit from a Wisconsin distillery – and recount the tales that inspired each course.

Sept. 18

Great Lakes Distillery Dinner with Madison guest mixologists at Bavette La Boucherie
Celebrated bartenders Tom Dufek (Merchant) and Ricky Pajewski (Oliver’s Public House), will collaborate with Chef Karen Bell on this craft a tasting menu featuring Milwaukee’s own Great Lakes Distillery products. This five-course dinner will include paired cocktails and cuisine with a focus on local.

Cocktail Week Tailgate
Enjoy the tail-gate without the trouble at this popular Cocktail Week event. Meet and greet local restaurateurs, chefs and bartenders, mingle with other cocktail enthusiasts and indulge in all the great Milwaukee food and drink as you play classic tailgate games and watch the football game on Horny Goats giant TV!

This all-inclusive, ticketed event will feature unlimited food sampling with paired cocktail samples.

Heaven Hill 4-Course Whiskey Cocktail Dinner at Distil
Heaven Hill, one of the countries largest producers of quality bourbon, teams up with one of Milwaukee’s best whiskey and cocktail bars for this four-course whiskey cocktail dinner. Featuring a cocktail from Evan Williams Single & Domain de Canton as a reception cocktail and followed by four delicious food and cocktail pairings featuring Bernheim Wheat, Elijah Craig 12, Henry McKenna Single and Parkers Heritage, this super-exclusive dinner is the whiskey-lover’s dream.

45th Parallel & Gamle Ode Prix-Fixe Dinner at Braise
Braise will be offering a special three-course prix-fixe tasting menu option, available throughout service on Tuesday, Sept 22. This tasting menu will pair a cocktail made from 45th Parallel spirits and Gamle Ode Aquavit with each course. Menu details coming soon.
