It's a sandwich name from Milwaukee's past and present. Suburpia, which re-entered the Milwaukee-area in 2005 (the chain had nearly 20 locations in the 1970s and '80s), will open at 2264 N. Prospect Ave. "soon," according to a sign on the window.
Just across the street from Whole Foods, the space most recently was home to an East Side location of Soup Bros.
Suburpia's 10853 W. Blue Mound Rd. location is a lunch hot spot in Wauwatosa.
