Milwaukee's Omanhene Chocolate will star at Golden Globes
London's Financial Times has described Milwaukee's Omanhene cocoa as "the finest in the world."
Similarly, The New York Amsterdam News gave Omanhene the highest of praise, raving, "Like a fine wine, chocolate lovers have described its tantalizing flavor as 'sublime' and 'extraordinary'."
And now, attendees at the Golden Globes will have the opportunity to taste this extraordinary chocolate for themselves.
Omanhene has partnered with Prima Dolce, an artisan maker of fruit compotes recently named to Oprah Winfrey's "O List," to produce a very special apricot filled chocolate for the awards celebration.
The chocolates, which were created by Omanhene principal, Chef Francois Kwaku-Dongo and made with Omanhene's 48 percent dark milk chocolate, will resemble truffles, but will be filled with a fruit compote.
"It is a culinary collaboration between people who love good food, founded their own companies and saw the benefits of working together to create something enchanting," says Steve Wallace, founder of Omanhene.
Watch the Golden Globes this Sunday, Jan. 13 on NBC.
