The 600 East Cafe and the 600 East Business Center opened at the end of June and will celebrate the grand opening of the two new Downtown businesses with a ribbon cutting followed by refreshments on Monday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m.

The public is invited to join 600 East owner Dan Nelson, Jr. at 600 E. Wisconsin Ave. for the event. The ribbon cutting kicks off a week of specials and events.

Guest are invited to stop in everyday for a free sample of locally-sourced food: chocolate chip cookies on Monday; coffee on Tuesday; pound cake on Wednesday; latte and mocha drinks on Thursday and baked oatmeal on Friday.

The cafe will serve breakfast, build-your-own sandwiches, wraps, coffee and other drinks. It also features a walk-up window at North Jackson Street and East Wisconsin Avenue.
