Pastiche Bistro has announced a tentative closing date for its restaurant at 3001 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View.

The location, which will move into Hotel Metro 411 E. Mason St., plans to observe its last day of service in Bay View on Sunday, Aug. 21.

According to Pastiche partner and Chef Rachael Carr, the Bistro will host a special event during its final week in business to express thanks to guests and neighbors. Details of the celebration will be forthcoming.

As for the move Downtown, Carr and Chef Michael Engel are planning for a Sept. 1 opening.

The menu at Hotel Metro is expected to resemble that of a Parisian bistro, and will also offer breakfast and lunch service, in addition to dinner.
