Roots to be featured on "Good Food America"
Roots Restaurant and Cellar, 1818 N. Hubbard St., Wisconsin's only farmer/chef-owned restaurant, will be featured Saturday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the Veria Living network's new series "Good Food America with Nathan Lyon."
During the episode, Chef Lyon will talk with Executive Chef Dan Jacobs about the pasture-raised Black Galloway tenderloin they source from Kay's HomeFarm, a family-owned cattle operation located at Kaehler's Mill Farm, 25 miles north of downtown Milwaukee near Cedarburg. Chef Jacobs will also share his recipe for a tofu steak appetizer with arugula and black garlic vinaigrette.
"Good Food America," which premiered July 7, aims to take viewers on a culinary adventure in search of the healthiest places to eat across America. Episodes feature Food Network Star finalist Chef Lyon as he shares the secrets of the signature dishes that keep health-conscious foodies coming back for more.
