It looks like the space on Milwaukee Street which formerly housed Carnevor won’t be vacant for long. In fact, it will soon be inhabited by one of Milwaukee's best upstart chefs.
Late last week, Merriment Social Chef Andrew Miller, along with partners Cameron Whyte and Samuel Emery, filed their application for a class B liquor license for a restaurant called Third Coast Provisions, at 724 N. Milwaukee St.
According to additional information received today, the concept for Third Coast Provisions will focus on "creating an unparalleled seafood experience for Milwaukee patrons."
Its menu will focus on modern seafood preparations, utilizing seasonal products from the Great Lakes region and beyond. In addition to entrees, an oyster bar will feature multiple varieties of fresh oysters and shellfish daily.
A prominent Chicago-based designer will consult with the partners on the interior for the restaurant.
Miller says he hopes Third Coast Provisions will open early this summer.
