For the fifth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2011."

The holiday season is quickly approaching and once again, Hunger Task Force is trying to help families have a happy and filling Thanksgiving by putting together meals for those struggling to make ends meet.

Those wanting to help the cause can donate a turkey online or in person at the Hunger Task Force offices at 201 S. Hawley Court. And with each donation, the electronic ticker along I-94 will climb.

This year, though, there is an added bonus. For each turkey donated, the Rexnord Corporation will donate two birds to the effort. The Rexnord Turkey Ticker Challenge runs from now until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23.
