Food and Wine of Spain Dinner at Bacchus
Bacchus goes to Spain! Bacchus will welcome Chef Cory Morris for a Food and Wines of Spain Dinner on Wednesday, September 10. He is Chef de Cuisine at Mercat a la Planxa, Chicago’s top Spanish restaurant. Chef Morris' approach to food is derived from his travels as well as industry luminaries which he's worked alongside, including chefs Jose Garces and Joyce Goldstein. He believes that food is meant to excite the palate and create memories. Chef Morris will work in tandem with Bacchus Chef Nick Wirth to create a 5-course Spanish dinner that is sure to wow. Selecting and describing the Spanish wines will be Jeffrey Calder CSS, CSW of General Beverage Sales Company. Join Bacchus as we welcome Donald Patz, Founding Member and Owner, of Patz & Hall Winery. A dedicated and visionary individual, Donald helped build Patz & Hall from the ground up. His depth of knowledge, coupled with a belief that handcrafting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in small lots using exceptional cool-climate fruit, and traditional techniques yields exquisite, complex wines. My husband and I dined at Bacchus last night for the first time. It was definately an experience we will not forget. From the moment we called for directions, to the moment we left was excellent. The restaurant has a wonderfully romantic ambiance, with a waitstaff that opens their arms for you!!! We highly recommend Bacchus!!!
I have tried a couple steaks here and they just melted in my mouth! DELICIOUS!!!!! Bacchus really knows how to make their steaks...
