| Description [edit] | |

Pink stucco walls, old Mexican pictures, murals, sounds of Mariachi music and a beautiful patio make dining at La Fuente a pleasurable experience.
Enjoy great food, Mexican beer and some of the best margaritas in town. |

One and done... Recently moving our office to the valley, we of course want to sample the great Mexican food in the area. LaFuente was one of the first stops as we (at the time) wanted to sit outdoors, which is about the only nice thing about our experience. The vegetarian options were unoriginal and sloppy, and my friend's meal was at first undercooked, but even when it was sent back it was (as mine was) lackluster and flavorless. And the prices were FAR too high for the quality. I really don't understand why there is a star next to this place. It is misleading. We will not be going back. Go to Botana's. Or better yet, save yourself some money, get better, more authentic Mexican food and gorge at Conejito's for 1/4 the price.

I love the Margaritas and the service is great, but watch out for the BILL. If you have a party of 5 or more your tip will show on your bill as SERVICE FEE. If you don't realize it you will be double tipping and they will be double dipping. After a few margaritas you might not see it but keep it in mind and keep your eyes open. ENJOY
