Horrible! Never going back and telling everyone I know about my experience. I was there with My Dad, Mom, Boyfriend and his Mom and Dad from out of town. The service was average for everyone else (although the waitress got my order wrong) and proceeded to blame me for giving her wrong information even though everyone at my table heard me order otherwise. She gave me a dirty look and walked away to "remake it", came back wrong again. The over priced burger ($11) was disgusting! Big pieces if gristle throughout the burger, the bacon must have been flash cooked because it was fatty and still white in spots. I used the bathroom and that was enough to make me lose the lunch I just ate. Floor dirty, lotion or some kind of white cream sprayed on the side of the stall with a big hand mark smeared down the middle of it, hand soap dispenser hanging on an angle like someone pulled it off and they never bothered to fix it. I had to apologize for this place to my family and my boyfriend's family. We will never return!

Sorry to hear about the experiences earlier. This is one of the reasons I don't like visiting brand new restaurants, but that's my opinion. T he ambiance fits the S Water area with modern decor in an open concept area. The drink list is great--many local brews and some exotics. I had the Bison on the Pretzel Bun...I would suggest if you've never had that style of bun; try it at least once as you might be pleasantly surprised. The flavor was excellent and meat was done perfect at medium-rare. Service was good and our food (app & entrees) were out super fast. They were out of Jalapenos for the burger which bummed out my fiance, but quickly made up with the Mozz Stack appetizer. Delicious and for $4.75, I would be hard pressed to find a cheaper Mozz cheese-based app in the city. All in all a good experience. I'll be back. Hopefully they have everything straightened out in comparison to August...seems like it to me.

Stopped for the opening, I also am not typically one to complain, but was a bit disappointed. (Table of two) - we were given assigned a new server after I think the first one had forgotten that we had been seated, she was wonderful. The food, for the price was very bland. Started with the Stacked cheese fries. The fries lacked salt, but were saved but a decent cheese sauce. Followed by a Black Bean burger - I expect when using artisan cheeses (cheddar to be specific) that it be aged a bit, and have some flavor. The burger also lacked seasoning. The burger was accompanied by the mac n cheese, which was good. Both of us dining loved however the shake that we split, just not sure if an 8$ ($4 for the virgin) shake is enough to make a Milwaukee restaurant successful.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but my husband and I had a wonderful experience there yesterday for lunch. Our server DID notify us that they were out of a certain kind of beer, but other than that, they had everything. We had the Jalapeno Poppers appetizers which were unbearably hot. I understand that jalapenos are HOT, we make homemade salsa with serrano and habaneros which are MUCH hotter and this didn't even compare. Not sure if they didn't take out seeds or ? But the sweet crunchy coating was fabulous. Our burgers were done as requested and just the right size - I end up usually only eating half, but this was the perfect size. The Twisted Mac N' Cheese as a side was WONDERFUL. And the fact that you can choose a side besides fries was refreshing. All in alll, we had a good experience. We appreciate that their business is burgers and they don't mess it up with other things! We will definitely spread the word and since I work downtown near there, I will recommend it to my co-workers.

I usually don't like to say bad things about new businesses, but I had an awful experience there at lunch with two other friends. My friend ordered a burger and was notified that they were "out" of the classic style buns. If you are going to charge $12 for a burger, you should not run out of buns (or have someone go buy "classic" ones before you open). The three of us ordered burgers and stuffed jalapenos. All 3 ordered medium. There was total of 6 patrons in the bar (and 6 staff) and we did not have anyone check on our drinks for 10 minutes while we sat drinking around our ice. Our burgers came out and they forgot about the jalapenos. Two of us had burgers that were well done and one of us had one that was rare. None of them were close to medium. I could taste and feel the thick black char on my burger. At that point, we just wanted to leave and not even worry about sending them back. We also didn't have napkins or silverware. I can forgive poor service at a new place (and we still did tip her 20%), but the food was definitely not worth it. Owners need to stop charging premium prices to their customers while sending out mediocre product. Save your money. Total disappointment.
