Transfer is, by far, my favorite pizza place in Milwaukee. You don't go to transfer to eat sloppy pizza-hut-style pizza (although that's not necessarily a bad thing). You go there to enjoy awesome Italian-style food. The menu is complete with lots of options and variety. The drink menu is just as good. Take someone there for a date. Its the perfect middle ground of price and "class". You'll end up becoming a regular, like me.

What a great little place! It was so refreshing to be able to enjoy a great meal in a non-smoking atmosphere. The inside was quant and the owner did a nice job of keeping the original flavor of the past businesses (pharmacy and soda shop) We tried the bruschette salami, which was delightfully different. The pizzas were wonderful, with such fresh ingredients and with a unique selection it was hard to choose which pie to order. The server suggested the nightly drink special, which we ordered. Very refreshing and balanced, which can be hard to find in a martini. Definitely will return!!!

The pizza is great, simple crusts, great ingredients, and just the right size for a two or three friends to share. The bar is also great! They kept the original counter top from the days when the building housed a pharmacy and soda fountain. My only criticism is that they would do well to extend their line of craft beers beyond Lakefront's product line. Finally, what will bring me back again and again, no smoking!!! As a friend of asthmatics, I applaud this business decision and promise my return business for years to come.
