Building community and moving Milwaukee forward is not only our job, but also our mission here at OnMilwaukee.com.
So, we've created another event -- Art on Murray -- a free art and harvest festival that will showcase our community's artists and fine crafters, as well as feature pumpkins, games, food, drink, music, raffles and more.
Art on Murray will be held 1 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 24 on Murray Avenue between Thomas and North Avenues on the East Side.
Get there in the afternoon for the art and free fun including items from Spirit Hill Farm's Pumpkinland and chances to win free "Rent" tickets courtesy of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
At dusk, an Oktoberfest-style celebration kicks off with the Dogs Bollocks and Rascals leading the way and Horny Goat Brewing Co. selling the suds.
A big thanks to Jenn Hintz from the OnMilwaukee.com team, who put this all together, with the help of our event guy, Todd Hall. Big thanks also to Westbury Bank, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea and Palermo Villa.
See you on Saturday!
