Art Riot is Saturday
OnMilwaukee.com is proud to present Milwaukee's first "Art Riot" from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, along the 5900 block of West Vliet Street and at the historic Times Cinema.
The day-long event will feature more than 40 local artists and exhibits from national artists like Derek Hess, The Pizz, Jay Ryan, Lindsey Kuhn, Steve Walters, Emek and Julian Correa.
In addition, The Times Cinema will screen the Milwaukee debut of "American Artifact: The Rise of American Rock Poster Art." Rock posters, live music, Brew City Bombshells Burlesque, custom bikes and hot rods will complement the film.
The event will also include a release party for a new local music sampler, OnMilwaukee.com's "OMCD3," which showcases 16 original songs from 16 original Milwaukee bands including The Scarring Party, The Championship, The Patina Tree, Kevin Brandt and The Subcontinentals, to name only a few.
The event is co-presented by Inferno Marketing Group, Pabst Blue Ribbon, FM 102.1, Rehorst Premium Milwaukee Vodka and Gin and the Harley-Davidson Museum.
