First Stage Children's Theater is one of the largest children's theater companies in the country.

Since 1987, its mission has been to provide exceptional, professional theater experiences for young people and their families.

Named "Outstanding New Theater in America (1991)" by the American Alliance For Theater and Education, First Stage produces classic and contemporary plays for school and family audiences in the 500 seat Todd Wehr Theater and other venues around town.
