Upcoming events

June 4, 2016 - June 4, 2016
Rallying the Troops

Attendees will participate in a fun team photo expedition throughout the Zoo grounds with an after-party, dinner and program following at the Peck Welcome Center. All proceeds from this event will enable Tricia’s Troops Cancer Connection to provide financial assistance and other free support services to help families endure the practical concerns, out of pocket costs and daily living challenges that arise during cancer treatment. Life with cancer can be a zoo, but we hope you’ll help us show local patients they’re not alone in fighting this beast!

June 29, 2016
Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin - Walk With Me

LET’S FLAMINGLE! Join us on Wednesday evening, June 29th, at the Milwaukee County Zoo as we take great "strides" in helping individuals with disabilities at our 10th Annual Walk With Me. Your support of this signature walk event helps us provide children and adults with autism and other disabilities the opportunities to live, learn, work and play in our communities. Registration and musical entertainment by Downtown Harrison begins at 5pm at the Zoo Terrace (but you can enjoy the zoo and free parking ALL DAY on June 29th with your registration!). At 6pm, you’ll meet the stars of the evening, our 2016 Honorary Ambassadors – Jacquie, Roman, Tamisha, Mattie, Victor and Zach. Then, walk, roll or stroll alongside the animals on the 1-mile family fun route beginning at 6:30pm! After the Walk, continue to enjoy the Zoo or return to the Zoo Terrace for more fun with Downtown Harrison. Funds raised through this event will be used locally to fund vital programs that provide direct services for individuals with disabilities. Your support will go far beyond just one evening of walking. Please visit www.walkwithme.org/milwaukee for more information or to register for our walk. $10 registration fee includes ALL DAY admission to the Zoo and parking on 6/29/16. Donate an additional $25 and receive a LET'S FLAMINGLE t-shirt. Children 2 and under are free. Together, we are making a difference!
