VISIT Milwaukee has announced an expanded partnership with Bublr Bikes to bring wayfinding and visitor maps to Bublr Bikes stations across the city.
The poster-size wayfinding maps will be located at every station to help visitors and residents locate other nearby stations and pinpoint hot spots around the city. Additionally, many Downtown Bublr Bike stations will also have a container filled with VISIT Milwaukee’s visitor maps that convention attendees and tourists can take with them to find their way around the city more easily.
"Bublr Bikes are a great asset for our locals and tourists alike," said Megan Gaus, vice president of marketing and communications for VISIT Milwaukee. "With the ever-expanding footprint of the Bublr Bikes network, wayfinding maps will allow bike riders to better navigate the city and see everything that Milwaukee has to offer."
VISIT Milwaukee began a partnership with Bublr Bikes when it launched in 2014 by sponsoring the station at the Wisconsin Center. Since then, the two companies have worked together to promote the bike share program through co-marketing projects such as featured content in VISIT Milwaukee’s Official Visitors Guide and a "how to" video produced for newcomers.
"It is because of long-standing partners like VISIT Milwaukee that we are able to continue to grow and expand the Bublr Bikes system," said Kevin Hardman, Executive Director of Bublr Bikes. "Bike share helps make Milwaukee an attractive city for business and leisure travelers and we’re excited to continue expanding our partnership with VISIT Milwaukee."
VISIT Milwaukee maps are currently installed at all of the Downtown Milwaukee Bublr Bikes stations. In the coming weeks, map installation will be complete at remaining stations.
