I just don't see the big deal - I'm of the opinion that if it's not hurting anyone and it's between consensual adults, then it's your business. Regardless of what I believe about homosexuality, I do believe that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Meaning that, I bet that most people so ardently against same sex marriage are doing or have done something that others would find gross or is illegal. Basically, I figure that if it's not hurting anyone, why not.

Re: First comment on how no other civilizations accepted gay marriage. Did you know that homosexuals built the pyramids in Egypt? They totally did. And by homosexuals i mean slaves. Argo, vis a vis, condordantly, you think that we should re-institute slavery. to help protect marriage. Moving on, in case you missed the last....10,000 years of human civilization, we have moved on from basic surivial needs to further our species. Once we got opposible thumbs, we pretty much left the animal kingdom in the dust. So, now that the goal is no longer to procreate, what do we do now? If our only goal is to pro-create, then marriage has nothing to do with anything. You should need to pass a test before having sex and children, not marriage. I for one, as soon as gay marriage is allowed, will set up exploratory organizations looking into the ability to wed across species lines, as well as having multiple husbands and wives, because as soon as we let minorities and women vote they took over the galaxy and and now we are all slaves to some sort of femi-ethnic conspiracy that holds back all evidence of the existence of Jesus Christ and Noah's Ark (it's in the Dells if you are still looking for it) You see how ridiculous that sounds? thats pretty much what i hear everytme somebody blathers on about only a man and a woman being allowed to love one another with government protection of their liberties and rights. I guess "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal under god" first only met rich land owning white men, then white men, then white people, then everybody but gay people. Do you see a trend here? it's called equality.

So the Greeks accepted homosexuality... So they must have all been gay. Certainly the ones in government. Huh? What kind of flawed logic do you use to draw those conclusions?!? And, what exactly are we protesting? The fact the an issue was put to the general public via a vote, and that issue was shot down? People were given a choice on gay marriage, and they voted no. So we are protesting the voters?

Interesting. I didn't realize that people got married so they could have children - I thought it was about love and commitment to one another. Many people have children without being married. Seems that you are mixing your issues. Your other comments are so offensive that they should be removed from this site. How dare you liken people to animals?

Great whats next, cat and dog marriage, how about man and monkey or man and bird getting married or brother and sister. Why do you think men cant have babies? why do you think the recipe for children is man and woman, not man and man.
