Proceeds from this evening's gala benefit residents of the Lutheran Home who have outlived their resources. Your support will help these seniors facing chronic illnesses, dementia and Alzheimer's disease live out their lives in comfort and dignity, with socialization, pastoral care and the loving attention of dedicated caregivers.

5th Annual Lombardi Food and Wine Experience

The Lombardi Food & Wine Experience will include a tasting gala and a separate premium-wine tasting at The Pfister Hotel Nov. 14 and a Celebrity Chef & Wine Dinner, Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m., at the University Club of Milwaukee. Both benefit Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds.

The gala: tastings from 35 vineyards, many with owners in attendance; chefs from more than 20 regional restaurants, and a Connoisseur’s Room premium-wine tasting from 6-8 p.m. Cost: $95/person for the gala, $175 for Connoisseur’s Room and the gala. The multi-course dinner: prepared by chef Michael Kornick from mk The Restaurant in Chicago with wine presented from the owners of Grgich Hills Estate, Far Niente/Nickel and Nickel and Gruet Winery.
