At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, the former Grasch Foods at 13950 West North Ave. in Brookfield will reopen as a Sendik's Food Market.

The news comes on the back of the February announcement that Grasch owners Bob Grasch, Bill Grasch and Mary Jo Stark would retire from the grocery business and leave their legacy in the hands of the Balistreri family, which owns a string of Sendik's grocery stores.

The red-bag Sendik’s store promises to continue the Grasch legacy of superior customer service, high-quality food products and a personalized shopping experience.

The Brookfield store will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
