Want to tackle the great Milwaukee winter from the comfort of your living room?  How about letting your smartphone or tablet do your shoveling?  Well, there's an app for that and it's coming to Milwaukee soon.

Co-Founders, William Mahoney of Syracuse, NY and Andrew Englander of New York City have created Plowz, a downloadable app that will summon a certified by the company snow plow service, charge your credit card, and send you a photograph of your cleared driveway.

Pricing is based on the size of your driveway.

"Plowz is going to change the way the national snow-belt handles this winter's harsh weather," says Mahoney.

It's available for free on Apple or Android.  Users simply put in their home address, a description of their driveway and tap to request a snow plow. The closest Plowz driver will receive the request and add it to their route to complete. Once the job is finished, the driver will snap a picture of the cleared driveway and upload it for the user to see.  Those using the app can watch the current weather forecast and even schedule their plows in advance.

"In November, we launched in the Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo area, and have since expanded to Minneapolis and St. Paul.  We will be live in Milwaukee within the next two weeks and expect to be in 25 cities by winter's end. Plowz' goal is to help consumers get through what looks to be a tough winter without having to worry about a snow-filled driveway," added Mahoney.
