Rupena's Fine Foods, 7641 W. Beloit Rd., an institution in the greater Milwaukee area since 1927, will bring many items from its household name grocery store and deli to the Milwaukee Public Market beginning next week.

New signs were just posted today on cases at the former Ceriello Fine Foods location at the market. Rupena's will open at the market on Nov. 17 and will offer fresh cut meats and poultry, angus beef, pork, hand made sausages, smoked meats, corn fed chicken, sandwiches, panninis, hot entrees and more, according to the signs.

Probably best known for its pavilion and good eats at Wisconsin State Fair Park -- as well as its shop at Beloit Road and South 76th Street -- Rupena's was founded in Riverwest on Holton and Center Streets in 1927 by John S. Rupena and is still run today by his sons.
