{image1} "I can't actually believe I am going to do this, but I have to if I want to get a pair of $5,700 boobs," says Erica Grabczyk.

Grabczyk, a stylist at Groom salon (714 N. Old World Third St.), recently launched a special promotion called "Ta Ta Tuesdays," offering her clients, all of whom are male, the opportunity to contribute to her breast implant fund. She hopes the gimmick will raise half of the money for the surgery, tentatively scheduled for September.

"I know this is out of the ordinary," says Grabczyk, who approaches her "chest cause" with a sense of humor and irony. "But if I'm standing over them in the shampoo bowl, why can't they help pay? I promise to wear tight shirts forever."

Salon owner Theri DeJoode supports the plan to score a bigger bust for her hardworking employee. "I told (DeJoode) I had decided on the boob job and she said that I shouldn't pay for the whole thing myself," Grabczyk says. "Since I don't have a wealthy boyfriend or sugar daddy, we thought up 'Ta Ta Tuesdays.'"

Normally, a haircut at Groom is $35 and clients leave a $5-$10 tip. Tuesday clients have the option to pay $50 for their haircut (and no tip), with $35 going towards the well-endowed endowment.

Grabczyk, who is currently a 36A, will also give contributors a chance to vote on her new cup size, anywhere from a B to a D.

"I hope they want a C at most but we'll see," she says.

The 25-year-old Grabczyk says she hoped for a bigger bust since she was 16, but nature never took its course so she finally consulted with Waukesha-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Yousif. Although Grabczyk found the cost of the surgery daunting, she decided to give the promotion a shot to fulfill her dream of a more bountiful brassiere.

"With taxes added, I will need about three grand," says Grabczyk. "Anything I make over that I will give to a local charity. Probably Sojourner Truth House, where I volunteer every Friday morning."
