Boswell Book Company took over the space formerly operated by Harry W. Schwartz Bookstore. An independent bookstore, Boswell features a wide variety of books and local authors, and regularly hosts in-store book signings and readings.

Presenting an event from the top rope! Playwright Alvaro Saar Rios talks about his newest play LUCHADORA! Professional actors who originated the roles in world premiere production by First Stage will also present some scenes from the play. Free and open to the public. About the Author: Alvaro Saar Rios’ plays have been performed in New York City, Hawaii, Milwaukee, and all over Texas. His play Luchadora! was named one of the 15 best plays of 2014-15 in Milwaukee. Rios has received writing commissions from various organizations, including Houston Grand Opera, First Stage, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. He and his wife Michelle Lopez-Rios are the co-founders of The Royal Mexican Players, a national touring performance troupe. Originally from Texas, Alvaro lives in Milwaukee and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
