Boswell Book Company took over the space formerly operated by Harry W. Schwartz Bookstore. An independent bookstore, Boswell features a wide variety of books and local authors, and regularly hosts in-store book signings and readings.

Boswell Book Company is hosting a scholarly talk with Lilly Goren on Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. Goren will discuss pop culture and politics and sign copies of her newly released book titled, “Mad Men and Politics: Nostalgia and the Remaking of Modern America.” Boswell Book Company is located at 2559 N. Downer Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
