Filmmakers Brian James McGuire and Dan Wilson studied film at
UW-Milwaukee and have collaborated on projects since 1996. In 2006, they co-created "The Thickness of Delirium," a film produced with a budget under $10,000.
The shooting took place in Milwaukee and Ogden, Utah, over the course of 12 days with a cast and crew of four people, including Leann Slaby from CBS's "Survivor: Vanuatu."
"The Thickness of Delirium" is about a man's decision to kill his father after his father doesn't show up for his mother's funeral.
The film is scheduled for a special screening Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Landmark's Oriental Theatre and is open to the public. A talkback with the director and producer will follow the film.
