This morning, Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson announced on its 105th Anniversary Celebration Web site that it won't surprise its fans with Elton this summer.
Instead, the company writes: "We are thrilled to welcome Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to Milwaukee to celebrate the 105th Anniversary with our family and friends. This will be an additional concert that will be held outside the Summerfest Grounds at the Roadhouse at the Lakefront and will require a separate ticket from the official 105th Anniversary ticket." Tickets go on sale April 5 at 8 a.m.
Only 105th Anniversary ticket holders (on sale now) are eligible to purchase Springsteen tickets and a ticket package confirmation code will be needed to purchase Boss tickets. For every official 105th ticket purchased, individuals qualify for one Bruce Springsteen concert ticket. Tickets are $40 (plus $2.50 for tax, shipping and handling).
Harley-Davidson and its sponsors also announced acts for its four main stages at the Summerfest Grounds, Friday and Saturday nights (Aug. 29-31). These include:
