Minneapolis rapper Brother Ali sat in with The Roots Tuesday night on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
Ali, aka Jason Newman, was born in Madison in 1977 and moved around the Midwest as a child before his family settled in the Twin Cities.
