Here's some good news to remind everyone of warmer days ahead: This morning, Summerfest announced Florida Georgia Line will be coming back to headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

The hit-making country duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard will take the stage June 30 with openers to be announced at a later date.

Florida Georgia Line hit it big back in late 2012 with its hit country pop song "Cruise" featuring Nelly. The song would end up holding the number one spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for 24 weeks, ranking as Billboard's No. 1 country single of 2013 and setting a record for the longest stay at number one in the chart's 70-year history. The country act would go on to win several awards for "Cruise," including three Academy of Country Music Awards, two CMT Music Awards, an American Music Award for Single of the Year and a Billboard Music Award for Top Country Song.

The 2018 Summerfest show will be FGL's first since the 2016 release of its third album "Dig Your Roots," with pop hits such as "H.O.L.Y.," "May We All," and "God, Your Mama, and Me."

Tickets for Florida Georgia Line go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. at Summerfest.com and Ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Summerfest box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers and select Walmart stores, as well as over the phone by calling either a live Ticketmaster agent at (800) 745-3000 or the Ticketmaster Express automated phone line at (866) 448-7849.

And stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Big Gig updates as they are announced.
