A couple weeks ago I told you about Miller Time Pub's new Unplugged Music Series, which debuted last Thursday, April 3.
Bryan Cherry and guitarist Sean Williamson of The Bryan Cherry Band and Apex, an instrumental jazz-fusion group, kicked off the two-month competition in which local musicians perform acoustically for cash prizes.
Miller Time Pub's audience voted Apex as the night's $100 winner, which means the band now has a chance to compete for $500 in May.
This Thursday, April 10 it's Frank G. Karioris versus Joseph Capacete, with performances at 8:30 and 9 p .m., respectively. Two of the four winners perform May 1, and the other two on May 8 at Miller Time Pub, at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
Free parking is available for all Miller Time Pub Unplugged guests. Parking only in the structure attached to the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 W. Wisconsin Ave. (Guests must bring their parking ticket to Miller Time Pub for validation.)
