For the longest time I've been hearing about how dope the new Element Everest project is going to be from my fellow Grown Man Collective homie Jank One, who's been shooting footage of the recording process.

Recently Element and her manager Geraud released a new song, "What I Do," to get people ready for the new album that still doesn't have a release date.

The absolute sonic banger, produced by Akira Shelton, features the Rusty Ps and A Biz, and Element employing a style not typically associated with her.

Straight up, this song is a party jam. Whether or not people who've been following Element's career since her days in Black Elephant absorb this new approach is yet to be determined. However, at least they have some good two-stepping music to listen to while figuring it out.

My good friends Q and OC over at The Mad Bloggers, an East Coast website that has been heavily supporting Milwaukee hip-hop for two years now, have the joint. Though I rarely ever direct people to another site to peep a new track, this one is worth deferring traffic for a look-see.
