I'm not a dog guy, but I know puppies are lovable, cute and popular. Obviously, the Brewers have scored a PR coup this spring with Hank the Dog.
And, even though some have taken Puppypalooza to a nearly exhausting extreme, we've been on puppy watch since the beginning of the buzz and of course I feel the need to fuel the fido train because, well, you gotta give the people what they want.
So, I'm here to tell you that the good brothers Keppler (George and Frank) at Brew City Promotions have hit a home run with the first Hank fashions. Yes, you now can wear baseball's favorite dog on your chest. "Milwoofie" and "Crank One for Hank" are the slogans on the two T-shirts, and I hear they are selling very well.
Baseball, for many, means spring and someday it will be warm enough to wear a T-shirt again, so you might as well stock up on Hank today. The Wisconsin Humane Society, by the way, receives 5 percent of the sale price from each shirt sold.
Hank T-shirts are priced at $22, and available here.
