I'm not a dog guy, but I know puppies are lovable, cute and popular. Obviously, the Brewers have scored a PR coup this spring with Hank the Dog.
And, even though some have taken Puppypalooza to a nearly exhausting extreme, we've been on puppy watch since the beginning of the buzz and of course I feel the need to fuel the fido train because, well, you gotta give the people what they want.
So, I'm here to tell you that the good brothers Keppler (George and Frank) at Brew City Promotions have hit a home run with the first Hank fashions. Yes, you now can wear baseball's favorite dog on your chest. "Milwoofie" and "Crank One for Hank" are the slogans on the two T-shirts, and I hear they are selling very well.
Baseball, for many, means spring and someday it will be warm enough to wear a T-shirt again, so you might as well stock up on Hank today. The Wisconsin Humane Society, by the way, receives 5 percent of the sale price from each shirt sold.
Hank T-shirts are priced at $22, and available here.

The Zac Brown Band may be the closest to a true definition of a current day Summerfest mainstay as you can get. Their cross genre approach has wide appeal and while firmly anchored in their traditions and heritage the band is constantly evolving, taking risks and adding sounds, personality and styles.

After the show, my wife simply said that it was just "honest and real." That's what the show was. Urban and his band even stayed on stage afterwards shaking hands, slapping high fives and thanking the Wisconsin fans.
