Milwaukee-based Kohl's, in celebration of Kohl's Cares 10th anniversary, is donating $500,000 to 20 schools across America. Yes, that's $10 million total. And, I think, Milwaukee-area schools should be among the 20 getting the cash. Don't you?

As of Sunday, only three Milwaukee-area schools Racine's Mitchell Middle School, Milwaukee's St. Marcus Lutheran School and Milwaukee's Pius XI High School are in the top 50. So, let's get them all into the top 20.

Kohl's Cares is using Facebook for the promotion and voting, so it's very easy vote and tell friends, too.

You get 20 votes and can vote up to five times for a particular school. My suggestion? Vote five times each for Mitchell Middle School, St. Marcus and Pius, and then pick another school of your choice.

Lake High School in Millbury, Ohio, tops the list with more than 34,000 votes. Mitchell Middle School has about 9,968 votes, St. Marcus 5,864 and Pius 9,950. Cracking the top 20 (as of Sunday) would mean about 17,000 votes.

See the leader board here, and vote now here!
