They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
I think the two above are worth more than that.
I have no idea what this is.
I'm finally all moved in here in Milwaukee, so have finally gotten to mess around with the TV channels, which are different than Kenosha.
It was late the other night, and I was flipping through the basic cable channels when I see this giant picture of Poland on the screen.
That's it. Poland.
There is no sound, nothing. Just this picture. For what seemed like an eternity.
Now I'm hooked. How can I not see what comes on next? I mean, what could this mean?
So what comes up next? Croatia.
Again, no sound, subtitle or anything. Just that picture. How awesome was that?
At that point, I didn't want to see what came on next. I didn't want to ruin it for myself, so I changed the channel.
To an auction that was promoting "56 full cans of beer."
I love Milwaukee public television.
Scola TV is what it is and they air polish news of the day at 5-6 then 6-7 is Croatian news. It's a rebroadcast from said country. You must have tuned in during an off air time. Tune in at 5-6 on a weekday to watch the rebroadcast for that day from Polska.

After a rough start to 2013, which included a couple of trips from Milwaukee back to the minor leagues, Tyler Thornburg admitted he lost focus. He regained it at the end of the year to make seven excellent starts, and he hopes that has earned him a shot at the 2014 Brewers rotation.

Professional sports have been, and will always be, a young person's game. No one beats Father Time one-on-one, not even the all-time greats. But Nick Vorberg, who will turn 39 in February, is at least playing him to a draw in goal for the Milwaukee Wave.

Despite the fact that the quarter pole is approaching in the 2013-14 NBA season, it's impossible to make any judgments on this Milwaukee Bucks team. There have been too many injuries and lineup changes to do so, but that also means that, as the offense struggles, the margin for winning is very slim.
