Have you seen this mural in Walker's Point, on the corner of 1st Street and Pittsburgh Avenue? I drive by it almost every day and finally got some information about it.

The mural was created in July-August 2011 by collaborating artists and brothers Chris and Alex Couto, with the help of Christopher Roze and Owen McGonegle. It took two weeks to paint and was done with the use of stencils.

"We wanted to see something bright and colorful go up, get something going. We love Milwaukee and wanted to give to the people here, show some love," says Chris Couto.

This mural really brightens my day, and I would like to see a lot more public art in general. What do you think of it?
