Nat Davauer will open Craft & Vessel inside Joe’s North Shore Barber Shop, 4417 N. Oakland Ave., which is currently still open.

Devauer is hoping to open on July 1, 2014.

According to Davauer, Craft & Vessel will offer a rotating selection of fresh craft beer, unique bottles and to-go growlers along with locally made food, snacks and gifts.

"It's not a bar or a brewery or a brewpub," says Davauer. "No beer will be brewed – it’s more like a tea room or cafe for beer."

The Shorewood-based Craft & Vessel will also feature patio service (weather permitting), special events and educational opportunities.

"There is a quickly growing interest in American craft beer, shopping local, locally made gifts and 'greener' products. This store will sit at the intersection of these things," he says.

Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.com when more information becomes available about this new business.
