I stopped by Chubby's Cheesesteaks at lunch and co-owner Mazin Hamdan, confirmed that he will open The Drive-Thru in the former Sil's space, which is across the parking lot from Chubby's, as soon as renovations are finished.

"Hopefully before June, but by the first week of June for sure," says Hamdan.

The Drive-Thru will offer Alterra coffee, hotdogs and "the exact same" mini donuts, according to Hamdan. They will add sloppy Joe's to the menu and possibly one or two other new items.

Hamdan says they are completely remodeling the interior of the structure, and plan to add a landscaped patio with more lighting and five or six tables.

"We want to accommodate families," he says.
