When sources go south: Bucks' extension of Hammond's contract contradicts report

Recently, the Milwaukee Bucks extended the contract of General Manager John Hammond. The agreement keeps Hammond in his position with the Bucks through the 2016-17 season. I was wrong on this one. In July I had written that the Bucks were on the verge of appointing Coach Jason Kidd to be the head of basketball operations and either parting ways with Hammond or finding another position for him in the organization.

We enjoyed Bucks Fan Fest on Saturday. These types of events are fairly standardized for teams today and many have made them multi-day affairs with countless attractions and ways to earn your cheers and cash. On Saturday, the Bucks players did their best to be unique and stand out.

Wisconsin Center District Board selects Downtown arena advisory team

On Friday, Wisconsin Center District (WCD) Board Chairman Scott A. Neitzel presented selections to the board on an initial team of advisors who can assist with the Milwaukee arena negotiations. The WCD Board unanimously approved the Chairman's selections.
