Get up close to Wisconsin wineries
If you want to get a closer look at Wisconsin wineries, two of them -- Parallel 44 and Stone's Throw -- offer ways to learn more. Kewaunee's Parallel 44 has a Barrel Club that lets you make your own wine and Stone's Throw hosts a Milwaukee-area tasting event on Sept. 16.

Better Luck San Diego?
I'm writing this blog entry because I'd really like to win that trip to San Diego. I can't really say I've necessarily done anything (at least purposely) to deserve the trip. I don't have family or friends out there and I haven't lost my job or anything else unfortunate like that, but a string of...

If you could choose, would you prefer December or March to stay warm and snowless in Milwaukee?
December. I'm not ready for winter yet.
March. By then, I need winter to be over.
There's no use complaining or hoping for better weather in Wisconsin.
Actually, I like snow.
