Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings on the SC Johnson campus in the heart of Racine have long been among the Wisconsin architect's signature works. Now, a new gallery located in the lower level of Lord Norman Foster's 2010 Fortaleza Hall, will serve as a permanent gallery on the campus for annually rotating exhibitions focusing on Wright's work.

This weekend I finally got to see Taliesen's bookend, Taliesen West, which Wright constructed on a craggy Scottsdale hillside later in his life. Like its namesake, this Taliesen, too, feels like part of its setting.

Frank Lloyd Wright fans have only a little time left to see Milwaukee Art Museum's "Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century." The show closes Sunday, May 15. It's also a member swap day and a Family Sunday at MAM.

That's why we went behind the scenes at MAM and met the people who toil long and hard so that Brew City can have a world-class art museum. Today we meet librarian and archivist Heather Winter.

Because of the nature of my job, I've had the opportunity to experience Milwaukee in a way that not everyone else has. But that's not to say I've completely crossed everything off my Milwaukee "bucket list." Before I go to that great cheese castle in the sky, I've got more than a few experiences I must try.
