Though Patrick Murphy isn't new to Le Reve Patisserie and Cafe in Wauwatosa, he just assumed his new post as chef de cuisine last month. Now that he's top man in the kitchen at Le Reve, Murphy is working with sous chef Ashely Lamey to create a new dinner menu at the restaurant. Clearly, it is time to catch up with Murphy for this latest chef profile.

Foodies around town know the Bartolotta name, of course, and Bartolotta chefs like Adam Siegel and Juan Urbieta are also pretty high profile in Milwaukee. But as anyone knows, it takes a village -- or at least a crack staff -- to make a restaurant like Wauwatosa's Ristorante Bartolotta hum on a daily basis. So, when we met the tall and outgoing Zak Baker recently at the Ristorante, we decided that you ought to know him, too.

La Reve (French for The Dream) is the name of a new patisserie and café under construction on the west side of Harwood Avenue in the heart of Wauwatosa's village center.
