Catching up with Fulbeli Deli founder Mike Koppa in Viroqua endeavors

Mike Koppa moved to Viroqua from Milwaukee in 2004, but he left his stamp on the city in many ways. Koppa was best known, perhaps, for his work at his family's former business, Koppa's Farwell Foods and Fulbeli Deli. Today, he works as a headstone engraver and opened an online business.

Madison's Willy Street Co-op opened in 1974. Now, 37 years later, the co-op has 273 paid employees and recently opened a second location in Middleton. "This is a great place to work," said manager Dan Frost.
