The Wisconsin Badgers capped an incredible year of college basketball in the state with a deep NCAA Tournament run, but they weren't the only big story. UWM went from worst to first in one year, Marquette lost, and found, a head coach, and the UWGB Phoenix were snubbed. Here's a look back at a great year of major college basketball.

The news that boxing is back at the University of Wisconsin as a club sport 64 years after it was banished has made a big media splash. It also reminds us of the Marquette University's boxing program, which spawned one of the most controversial U.S. senators in American history.
