How do you explain why a hot, successful team like the Green Bay Packers lose to the Buffalo Bills when there is so much at stake? It's a complicated answer, but it isn't just statistics or even motivation that seem to be the problem. A loss like that may not even be avoidable at some point.

While it's true that Aaron Rodgers turned in one of the worst performances of his career in a 21-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills in New York on Sunday afternoon, finishing with two interceptions and a 34.3 rating, the defense played well and the running game averaged 6.3 yards per carry. So, why did the Packers come home with a loss?

In our stats-driven society, we all know Aaron Rodgers is 68-32 in his first 100 starts, which is the same record Brett Favre had. And we know Rodgers has thrown about 4,000 fewer interceptions in his career than Favre did to this point. Which leads me to this question: "So what?"
