"The Lion King" has sold out on Broadway for almost 15 years, and they've brought that caliber show to the Milwaukee Theatre. It's a spectacular pageant that's wonderful for the entire family.

One of Justin Hayward's earliest memories of being in America with The Moody Blues comes courtesy of the Midwest. Unsurprisingly, it's a chilly one. Over 40 years later, he returns to town for a show on Sunday, Nov. 16. Unfortunately, it hasn't gotten much warmer. One thing is different this time around, though: Hayward arrives in Milwaukee by himself, taking the chance in between tours with The Moody Blues to do a special acoustic tour.

Michael Pink, the artistic director of the Milwaukee Ballet, is an artist who has a great respect and affection for the literary and musical giants of past, just has he has a diligent commitment to encouraging and producing new works. But more than anything else, Pink is a storyteller, a man in love with a good yarn that tells a tale of romance, adventure and the forces of good and evil.

On Oct. 3-5, the Marcus Center Grounds and Pere Marquette Park will transform Downtown Milwaukee into a traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest celebration activating both sides of the Milwaukee River with beer gardens, music and food.
