It doesn't even need to be said that Usinger's is a Milwaukee tradition, does it? I didn't even grow up here and I have fond memories of visiting the store at 1030 N. Old World 3rd St., as a child with my grandparents. I love that nearly 40 years later, it still smells and looks exactly the same as I remember it from my youth.

The NBA was to have opened its 2011-12 season this week, but the ongoing lockout wiped those games -Â in fact, all November games -Â from the schedule. League commissioner David Stern has ruled out a full, 82-game season and even an abbreviated campaign seems unlikely as the two sides remain stuck. For those who own bars and restaurants near the Bradley Center, the loss of games means a lot of lost revenue.
