It's the eternal argument: The chicken or the egg. The same can be said regarding an All-Star berth for Milwaukee Bucks guards Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. If the Bucks are winning, do they earn the honor? If they earn the honor, does it mean the Bucks are winning? Either way, the door is open for the pair.

Injuries aren't an excuse. You hear it all the time from players and coaches and it's hogwash. Considering the way things went for the Bucks in 2008-09, it's impossible not to consider the injuries that contributed to another frustrating trip to the NBA Draft lottery. Just as things seemed to be heading in the right direction, Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut got hurt.

Bucks point guard Ramon Sessions recorded his first-ever "triple-double" -- 16 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists -- but it wasn't enough to prevent a 104-98 loss to the Lakers before the largest crowd of the season Wednesday night at the Bradley Center.
