The Milwaukee Brewers have traded All-Star pitcher Yovani Gallardo to the Texas Rangers for right-handed minor league pitchers Corey Knebel and Marcos Diplan and infielder Luis Sardinas. Gallardo was drafted by the Brewers in second round of the 2004 draft and went 89-64 in eight years in Milwaukee.

It's hard to be a surprise when you've done it before, but Mike Fiers was in that situation in 2014 for the Milwaukee Brewers. After an encouraging, and at times impressive, 2012 campaign he struggled in 2013. Then, last year, he became one of the lone bright spots down the stretch for the team. Now he hopes that body of work lands him in Milwaukee permanently.
