Roz Thurner, owner of Mocais Café in Chase Tower (formerly Bank One Plaza), realized the lack of coffee shop options in the Cathedral Square area and did something about it. On May 1, M Café opened as a coffee kiosk in Edens floral shop, 789 N. Jefferson St.
The only thing missing from Cathedral Square was coffee, and were here to fill that need with whole bean coffee, ground fresh for every pot, states Thurner.
M Café will feature specialty drinks, espresso and coffees, along with fresh salads and sandwiches made daily.
Thurner opened Mocais in 2003, bringing an upscale Internet café to Milwaukee. Enhancing M Cafés fresh cuisine, Mocais offers full dining service with seating for 150, a cocktail bar and catering.
M Café will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with extended hours for Cathedral Square events including Jazz in the Park.
