Rumors that Urban Outfitters will open in the Kenilworth Building on the East Side have been flying lately. An official announcement could come soon, but in the meantime, Jocelyn McAvoy in the company’s store operations office isn’t talking.

“Milwaukee is not on our current 2007 listing,” McAvoy said via e-mail.

Antropologie, the upscale women’s retailer in the Urban Outfitter’s family, is rumored to be looking for a possible location in the Historic Third Ward.
