Former Brewers infielder Jeff Cirillo joins the FSN Wisconsin broadcast team to provide analysis on select post-game shows when the team is on the road.
The news was first reported by Brian Anderson on the team's broadcast Wednesday afternoon.
Cirillo, who played for Minnesota and Arizona last season, joins Jeff Grayson in the studio, located in Minneapolis. His first game will be on or around April 18.
In other Brewers broadcast news, the team announced that it has extended its agreement with radio flagship WTMJ-AM (620). The new deal will expire after the 2012 season. WTMJ, which has broadcast Brewers games for all but two years of the team's existence, beat out WQBW-FM (97.3), WRRD-AM (540 ESPN) and WSSP-AM (1250) in a bidding process that wrapped up last week.
Though there was talk that the Brewers would take their radio operations "in house," it appears that WTMJ is paying an unspecified rights fee and will sell the advertising for the games.
